About Mālama
Real People. Real Place. Real Work.
Mālama Sustainability Consulting was founded on a straightforward observation: Kauaʻi's businesses care deeply about this island, but most lack the tools, data, and strategic frameworks to translate that care into meaningful environmental action. At the same time, artificial intelligence has been transforming how businesses operate on the mainland and internationally — optimizing supply chains, reducing waste, uncovering efficiencies — while island-scale enterprises have largely been left out of that conversation.
We started Mālama to bridge that gap. Our team combines deep expertise in business strategy, technology, and environmental science with a genuine commitment to this place and its communities. We believe that when businesses operate as interconnected parts of a living system — rather than isolated units extracting from it — the result is an economy that is both financially stronger and environmentally regenerative. That is the future we are working to build.
